Course objective:
Is to support the Nipper/Sandhopper and youth beach sessions. The course is tailored to meet the needs of our nipper and Sandhopper sessions.
We need parents to sign up in order for sessions to run.

This is to either renew your qualification or to gain it for the first time. (Lasts 2 years)

With out membership £35.

Newly enlisted Sandhopper (March/april/ May enrolment) parents £0 as part of your summer sign up / if you also took out a volunteer membership.

To participate in any slsgb activity requires a membership.

SLSGB objectives:
Demonstration an understanding of the underpinning knowledge and skills to work as a Beach Lifeguard within a beach environment
Demonstrate a level of competence in carrying out a rescue using a rescue tube that would give them the capability to act as supporting water cover for Surf Life Saving sessions
Assessment Process:
This course can be Trainer Assessed.
Learners will be assessed using a variety of assessment methods. These are inclusive of, but not limited to:
*Observation
*Oral Questioning
*Practical demonstration
