Waiting List

Please select year of birth of the child being signed up on the waiting list on the drop down. This is to join Sandhoppers (5-7) and Nippers (7-12). If spaces are available for you child's age group you'll be contacted so please keep your email up to date. Sandhoppers do not require a trial. Nippers are required to have swimming ability for age 7-9 at least 50m with a good stroke and for age 10-12 at least 100m with a good stroke. Nippers will be trialled before joining. During the summer training is on a Sunday morning at Fistral or another Newquay beach. In the winter training is pooled based and we have to fall in line with pool availability. Fees are set at an AGM each year.
Adrenalin Quarry

Adrenalin Quarry Aquapark Group Booking. You will need to sign up by Sunday to get the discount as we are confirming the booking on Monday. Children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult (and there is a max of 3 under 11 to one adult) You will need to take your children there yourself and arrive one hour before the session (11am)
Nipper Trial Sessions 2026

This is the sign up for Nipper Trials for the 2026/2027 Nipper season. Please only sign up if you have been invited to do so - we invite people only from our waiting list or siblings of current members. We will be assessing the children's swimming, but it is also a chance for them to see if they will enjoy nippers and try out some of the skills they will learn such as board paddling and rescues. Younger children (7-9 years) will need to show they can swim 50m with a good attempt at front crawl (rather than doggy paddle) and without holding the sides. Those 10 and older will need to swim a continuous 100m front crawl with a recognisable stroke. We understand the children maybe nervous and we will attempt to make the session fun rather than a strict test! If the children could be changed ready to get in the pool at 11am, ideally wearing jammers or a swimming costume rather than boardies or a two piece (as this prevents rub from the boards). They will need goggles.
Dinner and Dance

NSLSC Dinner & Dance 2026 It’s back baby! Join us to celebrate the club and party with your mates (and maybe your kids). £30 per ticket including two course meal and live music to follow. Come dressed to party! Open to all Sandhopper & Nipper parents, Youth and Senior Members (adult plus ones welcome)
