Level 1 Coaching Course

Level One coaching course for those wanting to gain a qualification and help our nippers get the most from the training.
It will involve theory and practical components, the theory will take place on 28th April and then the remaining practical elements over the subsequent two or three weeks during the nipper sessions.
The club is happy to pay for this course, on the understanding that if you then are unable to commit to helping regularly (and that doesn't mean every week!) for at least a year you will be liable to refund the club the cost.
Some understanding of surf life saving as a sport is required, so if your nippers are brand new (and didn't do sandhoppers) then waiting until next year maybe beneficial.
You will need to have a DBS check carried out by the club prior to starting the course so signing up means you consent to this process starting. Any question please do ask myself or Kass.
