You need to sign up with the club as a 'Volunteer Member' to get a SLSGB number. Please do this before registering for the event. The course is free of charge but a Volunteer Membership is £40.
Course objective:
Is to support the youth/Nipper/Sandhopper and youth beach sessions. The course is tailored to meet the needs of our nipper and Sandhopper sessions.
We need parents to sign up in order for sessions to run.
This is to either renew your qualification or to gain it for the first time (lasts 2 years).

SLSGB objectives:
Demonstrate a level of competence in carrying out a rescue using a rescue tube that would give them the capability to act as supporting water cover for Surf Life Saving sessions
Assessment Process:
Learners will need to complete the online learning prior to the session including answering the questions. This will be shared with you via spond or email so please keep an eye out for it.
On the day you will be taught how to, then be required to demonstrate a tube rescue as well as answering questions on the online theory to check your knowledge.
