Waiting List
Please select year of birth of the child being signed up on the waiting list on the drop down. This is to join Sandhoppers (5-7) and Nippers (7-12). If spaces are available for you child’s age group you’ll be contacted so please keep your email up to date. Sandhoppers do not require a trial. Nippers are required to have swimming ability for age 7-9 at least 50m with a good stroke and for age 10-12 at least 100m with a good stroke. Nippers will be trialled before joining. During the summer training is on a Sunday morning at Fistral or another Newquay beach. In the winter training is pooled based and we have to fall in line with pool availability. Fees are set at an AGM each year.
Yellow Competition Vest
All Nippers/Youth/Open/Masters will need their own competition vest to participate in any beach competition (Cornish and nationals) Size Small (Younger/smaller nipper) Size Medium (Older nipper/youth) Size Large (Youth/Adult) The vests are meant to be tight and not loose so I don’t recommend buying something “to grow in to†it needs to fit now. They can easily be sold on to other members in the future. Racer Back design. Competition race vest are mandatory for all SLSGB competitions. This vest is made from high quality Flexcite which is a Lycra/Nylon mix

Penzance Pool Saturday 8th March 10am to 2pm - 8/9/10yr Girls (2015/2016/2017 years of birth) Saturday 8th March 2.30pm to 6pm - 8/9/10yr Boys Sunday 9th March 10am to 2pm - 11/12/13yr Girls (2012/2013/2014 years of birth) Sunday 9th March 2.30pm to 6pm - 11/12/13yr Girls Please be aware parents will not be allowed poolside or in the gallery so will not be able to watch due to the large number of expected entries.
